The Zerda Café is one of the first Algerian restaurants in Paris. Founded in 1946, under the sign "El Golea" by a former companion of the liberation. He pays homage to this city of southern Algeria, which has taught him everything according to the words. At the end of the Second World War, he decided to create a restaurant in a typical Neo-Moorish Deco.

In 2003 it is taken by the Achour family, it will change its name to "Zerda café", for this, the deco will be modified, drawing inspiration from the old Ottoman buildings of the Kasbah of Algiers, including "dar aziza". For more than sixty years, he has been an ambassador of North African cuisine in Paris.

Located in the Theater District, he has received the greatest comedians, such as Gabin, or Jouvet.
